Our show on the 16th was a success!!! Several new families joined, so our club is growing!!!!!! It was a windy day and the horses were frisky, but everything went well and we had a lot of fun. Thank you to our club helpers who were Lajuana Reynolds, Sable Lindsey, Kenny Zumwalt, Laurie Zumwalt, Mike Schleper, Cheyenne Newboles, Dillon McCowan, Devin McCowan, James Newboles, Bobby Supernault, and Nancy McCowan. Everyone pitched in and the show went smoothly.
Thank you to everyone one who brought sweets to sell. Had a lot of nice goodies.
THE SECOND SPRING PLAY DAY AT THE SADDLE CLUB WILL BE SUNDAY, APRIL 24th TO BEGIN AT 1:30. COME ON OUT AND PLAY FOR THE DAY. NO JUDGED CLASSES, JUST FUN CLASSES!!!

MEMBERSHIP MEETING THURSDAY, APRIL 21st AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE SADDLE CLUB ARENA.
Open arena riding for our members will begin after school is out. Will post the date we will begin asap. (4:00 until dusk.)
We have two NBHA barrel shows scheduled. The first race is scheduled for Sunday, August 7th and the second is on Saturday, August 27th. Mark your calendars for these days to run the barrels, work at the club and have fun watching the speed horses!!!
The 2016 club shows will be held on the third Saturday of each month, beginning on April 16th.
Membership meetings will be held the 3rd Thursday of each month to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the saddle club arena. Any changes due to weather will be posted.
Urbana Saddle Club was formed in 1961 to promote a safe fun place to ride and show horses for youth and adults.
Our Club host a minimum of one point show each month during the summer. The age groups are:
9 and Under, (walk and trot classes),
10-14, (walk, trot and lope classes)
15 – 17, (walk, trot and lope classes)
18 (OPEN) (walk, trot and lope)
Ribbons are given to the top three placings in each class.
The next project is to repair and replace some of our electrical lines. We will be having special events to help pay for the replacement of our lights.
