SORRY, BUT THE RAIN HAS FORCED US TO CANCEL THE FUN SHOW FOR TODAY, APRIL 18TH.  THERE WILL NOT BE A RAIN DATE FOR OUR FUN SHOW.

FIRST POINT SHOW WILL BE SATURDAY, MAY 16TH TO BEGIN AT 4:00 P.M.

The yearly Urbana Saddle Club clean up day was held Saturday, April 11, 2015.  We had a tremendous day of clean up and fun.  So much was accomplished in one day it is almost unbelievable.  Hope everyone is as proud of your club as we are!!!!

Thank you goes out to Circle M Trucking for bringing all the big equipment and the load of white rock for the driveway. You should see Mike spreading the rock on the drive way.  WOW.  Also he can operate that bobcat like a wizard, zipping all over the place.   THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!!!!

We had lots of food and fellowship with our saddle club friends. A special thank you to Mike, Misty and Dallas and each of our members who came out and helped, we wouldn’t of gotten everything done without you.  We still have a few things to finish up, but will do that next time around.

Weather permitting, we will have  open riding for members on Thursday, April 23rd at 4:00 p.m. at the arena.  Lajuana will host the open riding each Thursday night.  If you have questions, regarding arena conditions please call Lajuana at 327-3320.

Our  next membership meeting will be held on Thursday, May 14th beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Please plan to attend the meeting.

The 2015 show dates are  Saturday, May 16th 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 20th 4:00 p.m.;  Saturday, July 18th 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 15th 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 12th 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 17th 4:00 p.m.  Please mark your calendar.  This is going to be a great new show season!!!!!!  Please come join us in showing and being with fellow horse lovers!!!!

 Urbana Saddle Club was formed in 1961 to promote a safe fun place to ride and show horses for youth and adults.

Our Club host a minimum of one point show each month during the summer. The age groups are 9 and Under ,   10-15, and 16 and over.    Ribbons are given to the top five winners in each class.

We have a year end awards banquet honoring the winning members in each class. An award is given to the high point horse in each age division.

The next projects are a new warm up arena, repair our electrical lines, and covering the spectator bleachers.
